ABOUT ME
Hello there! My name is Divinia (that’s right, it’s not just a stage name) and I’m making music for, essentially, anyone and everyone who wants to listen!
My whole life has been spent on a stage, and whether I was dancing, public speaking, or trying my hand at acting (notice the keyword trying), I was loving every second of it.
I've been having voice lessons since 2011, and started performing professionally in 2017 - just a girl and her ukulele. Fast forward to today, I've moved from the uke to the guitar, collected myself a fun set of loops and pedals, recorded and released original music, and have performed at venues, events, concerts, and festivals across NSW!
There are so many exciting things to come, so welcome to me and welcome to my journey!
I'm a live-looping musician & songwriter, which means I use a loop station to layer guitar, percussion, and vocal harmonies, bringing groovy covers to life alongside my extensive catalogue of original songs.
This is what my loop station looks like! It's a lot of fun, though I do have to get some fast feet happening sometimes (hence the lack of shoes)...
My music is a melting pot of genres (just the way I like it to be), and my Jazz-infused Folk sound has, among other things, taken me to the Sydney Blues and Roots Festival, won me second place in the 2022 Tamworth Country Music Festival Busking Championships, and set me up for my proudest achievement to date...being the supporting act for Rock legends Dragon in concert!
